I completed uninstalls and manually deleted the VPN folder left behind in the programs folder as well as registry keys each time. Here's what I had to do:- Chose "repair" from programs/features for the Cisco VPN Client.- Had to re-apply the registry tweak for "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CVirtA"- RebootVPN is working again.

Thanks for the solution ! I believe this is the order of my fix:1. reinstalled dne then cisco and tried a new connection entry but failed again with reason 412. I also re-enabled Secure Boot when I was done.
