Mine is a upgrade of Windows 10 Pro.What worked for me was an uninstall of the previous client and running the install using compatibility for previous version of windows. excellent it works for me. I then followed the steps above and did the optional step 3, just in case and when I launched VPN client, it worked like a charm.
